Hi! I am 5'2" and weigh 157. I started taking Phen 2 days ago. I have lots of energy now and feel like I need water. Which is great because I'm not a water drinker.I have 3 children and work 40 hrs. a week teaching. So, I put myself last and eat on the run. This will be challenging for me because I have such a hard time fitting me in the schedule.I want to lose 27 pounds. Would love suggestions on what is working for everyone.

Hi Susan,

I wanted to say hello and wish you success on your weight loss journey. I completely understand were you are coming from on putting yourseld last. I do the same thing. I am sure you will shed those 27 pounds in no time. I have been doing a low calorie diet and it seems to work for me. I cannot limit myself to anything. I just cut portions and it really helps. Agian, I wish you success.

Jessica

Susan,

I started phentermine on the 1st of June and I know for a fact the one thing that is working best for me is making sure I get in at least a hour/hour and a half of cardio and weights 5 days a week. I do mine all at once but even getting smaller workouts in here and there at different times is better than nothing.

Of course eating enough calories helps too, as many of the poeple on here will tell you if you try to get away with skipping meals because the phen makes you feel full your body will go into starvation mode and you won't be able to lose the weight. Depending on what you are grabbing 'on the go' you may be taking in too many calories.

I try to eat right around 1200 calories a day and burn a minium of 700 calories when I work out. You are at about the same place I am, with the the height, weight and goal. I'm hoping to be in the 130s by Labor day but with the way I have been losing so far I may hit it before then.

Good luck with your weight loss!
