Okay, I read through the site looking for similar questions with no such luck... I am having a funny feeling in my chest area. Not really pain but a strange feeling. I feel as though I need to take a deep breath a lot. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I noticed in the symtoms that if you experience shortness of breath you should stop taking the pills. Is what I'm experiencing shortness of breath?? I've been taking the pills for a little over 2 weeks now and I've lost about 8lbs so far. I would hate to have to stop but I would hate more to have a heart attack. Any advise?? Hi Malsgirl, I'm not a doctor, but it sounds to me like shortness of breath. That is considered a reaction, not a side effect. Not only should you see your physician as soon as possible , you should stop taking them immediately. If it get any worse I would go to the E.R.

This has happened to me too. I always felt like I had to take deep breaths alot. Very annoying! I found that if I stay away from caffeine while taking phent, I don't experience the shortness of breath. Now, I have no idea how the two can be related like that, but this is just what I've found. Would love to know why that would happen.

Anyone have any idea??

Also, which phent are you taking? I have always taken 30mg blue/clear capsules. I wonder if another type of phent would have the same effect or not.

Thanks... I didn't take it Saturday and I felt fine. I took half on Sunday and felt fine, but I decided to not take it this week and see a doctor. I will let you all know how it goes... Thanks again.
