Well I have been on Phentermine for almost 2 weeks now and have went down a couple of pounds. Which is awesome. I had a total hyst 4 years ago and gained about 45 pounds. I work out with a trainer each week and unless I drop my calories down to below 1000 a day, I just couldn't get the scale to move.

So here I go!

Hi, Myquest! How is the phen working now? Do you still eat strict calorie amounts or have you built up a little? Are you still losing any? I imagine some of the working out has built stronger muscles which may weigh more than fat and that may not show up on the scale but will on your body! Those hormone changes that come with a surgery such as you had can really throw you for a loop, but YOU CAN BEAT IT! :-D

OMG!! that is what is happening to me. I also had a TAH last year and have gained a lot of weight and can't seem to get it off by using diet and exercise. i got to Curves 3 x wk and walk 3 x wk and the scales aren't budging. In fact I think I'm still gaining weight.

Phen is my life perserver. I hope it works for me. I haven't gotten my supply yet.

I can so relate I had a hyst. in 2002 but kept my ovaries, now I have learned that I have poly cystic ovaries, I have been gaining weight since the surgery and I have tried everything out there! This is my last hope, my doctor is recommending the lap band surgery if these pills don't help me. I am really scared I heard when there was cysts on the ovaries it was even harder to lose weight. Any advice?
