I am normally 120-130 lbs. I have had 2 children, the youngest was born in 2000. I lost most of the weight after I had my son. I got down to 133. I am now 31 years old and weigh 174. I was stabbed 13 times back at the end of 2001 working as asst manager at apt complex. Since then I have suffered from PTSD and major depression and gained massive weight. I am so tired of being big. I wear a 36 DD bra and have constant back pain. I have been on Phentermine yellow 30 mg for 2 days so far. I love that they give me energy but I don't like feeling so tense in my upper back. It could be a caffeine side effect or not. Has anyone else had this problem?

Welcome to the forum first of all. I'm sorry it's taken so long for a reply, I apologoze profusely!
I'm also very sorry to hear about the stabbing. I can't even imagine what you went through. I"m glad to hear that you recovered though. I'm sure it was a long hard process to deal with though.
I too am top heavy so I feel for you and understand what you are going through. I didn't have tension though when I was taking the Phen. And I dont' think I've heard of anyone say anything about either. Have you been working out at all? It may be that you just aren't stretching enough or something. It's hard to say for sure w/o more detail about it. Let me know exactly what all you have been doing and how it's bothering you exactly and I'll see if I can't help you more.
BTW, caffiene isn't a good idea to have w/ the Phen. Caffiene is a diuretic and it helps to push meds out of your system faster. Water is ideal to have for me reason's than one.
Anyway, let me know what all you are doing and so forth and I will try to help you out more.
Welcome again, and start yourself a journal if you haven't done so allready. You'll be amazed at the support and motivation you'll get from everyone there.
Welcome and Good luck!

Dear copewithit - Very sorry about your stabbing attack. I have been tense in my neck/upper shoulder area forever it seems. I know that mine is stress related and not from the Phentermine. Exercise really helps alot and walking is a great tension releaser. Keep going - you can do it. God Bless !

Kathy
