Hello everyone, my name is Missy, I am a mother of 3 great kids and one husband of 17 yrs.
I am taking phentermine 37.5. I haven't slept more than 2 hours at a time since Friday night!
I only took half a pill this morning and I am going to see how that works instead of taking the whole 37.5mg at one time. I figure if 1/2 works well enough, that just gives me more days on the pills and maybe I won't build up a tolerance as quickly.
While taking the whole 37.5, I had no appetite, I hope the same happens while taking 1/2. We'll see today.
I am taking vit. B-12 and drinking lemon water, along with lots and lots of other water.
I was a big soda addict. I had at least 5 pepsis a day, I have had one glass and it tasted like crap! I think I'll stick to the water.
Anyway, as of today I have lost 5lbs!! I am looking forward to the next 5 and on and on!

How ya doing?? is the half working?

I know when I first started I had a hard time getting to sleep but no problems getting up in the am (A huge feat before Phentermine) I took 1 melatonin and within 20 minutes I was out. But only had to do that a few times....

As for the soda... I understand.. I used to drink 6-12 diet sodas in a day. When I started the Phentermine I wanted to start right so I drank water for the first few hours... and then I got the bright idea to have a soda.... YUCK!!!! Even sweet stuff doesn't seem so appealing anymore...

5 pounds is wonderful!!!!! Keep it up!!!!

Mother to 3 kids and a husband also, (who knew when you got married you were agreeing to mother him too?!) LOL

Looks like I am back to a whole pill a day.. I tried the 1/2 pill for 2 days, the first day it seemed to work fine but the second day by afternoon I was starving! I am sleeping better now, guess my body got used to it. I too feel ready to get up in the morning. I usually hit the snooze until the last minute!
I was wondering, it seems like I am eating alot of fruit now, mainly apples, grapes and oranges. Someone told me these are full of carbs that turns into suger.. does that mean I shouldn't be eating them?
I have lost a couple more pounds, my daughter even asked me yesterday if I was losing weight!! Such a sweet and wonderful child!! LOL

Hi, Missy-Girl. Sounds like you are off to a great start, especially when you have such a sweet little gal helping you!

Vegetables are generally less caloric but both fruit and vegetables are good for you. I would suggest eating fruits daily but counting your calories and write them down each time you put anything in your mouth! I HATE doing that because I always use up my calorie allotment before the day ends, but...it makes me keenly aware of what I eat. I eat fruits every day!
