Dosage

Has anyone taken 2 pills in one day? One in the morning and one in the afternoon? I have the 30 m/g blue/clear pills and do not know if 2 will be too much. Last year my doctor perscribed phentermine to me and i cannot remember the dosage......

I just received it in the mail and it says to only take one daily.

Hi, Emelhu! Welcome to the forum!

Don't ever take 2 pills in one day. That could mess up your body and the way it is supposed to work for you. The only time that would be okay is if you half a pill and take half of it before breakfast and half before lunch.:cool: Top-Dawg, Amanda or Ian will know the absolute answer, but I think it may be asking for trouble. Be safe always!

Please post again and let us know what you did and the results you had.

Susan's right, DO NOT take 2 pills. And, the only one's that can be halved are the tablets. Not the capsules. It's not safe, and it won't do you anymore good. Only take one a day in the morning on an empty stomache! Good luck and keep us posted!

These ladies are dead on. DO NOT TAKE 2 PILLS!!! There are vast reasons why. Your MD probably prescribed 1 30 mg tab/caps per day. You mess with your bodies functions and it can be lethal if you take more than 1.

Actually, I have filled many scripts that are written for Phentermine 30mg. capsules and 37.5mg tablets. They CAN be taken up to 3x daily, IF your physician has prescribed it for you. I am not in any way condoning the use of more than one per day. Your script is only one per day and that is what you should stick with. Mike

Thank you all for your feedback. I appreciate it!! I did find my old bottle from my doc. it did say 2 a day..... and when i tried phentermine in the past, it worked for me. I will start slow and take one and see how it goes. This doc that i had was very "pill happy" so it actually doesn;t surprise me he prescribed 2.

it gives you a few boxes after you create the ticker. I just copy and paste all the text out of the top box, putting it in my signature line on my profile.
