i thought of trying this as well. i've done the diet before twice...the first time, i lost 7 lbs within a week although i managed to gain it back. the second time, i could only tolerated the soup for two days! maybe after working my nerve up again to actually do the entire week, I'll try it again. It should work pretty well with the Phen. Let me know how it goes if you try it.

God i remeber that... I can't say i envy any of you. I did it for the full week and lost nothing.. the headaches.. sleepiness.. never again.. it's almost as bad as the 48 hour miracle diet juice stuff... or the lemonade diet... or the grapefruit diet.. or the oreo cookies and diet soda diet.. (that is the only on that I lost on.. a total of 30 pounds!!! MY KINDA DIET!!! LOL)

I would hope that the phen would help with some of the issues of such a nutrient restricted diet... or atleast the hunger pangs...

Good luck...
Colleen

 Hi, Gals! The problem with the cabbage soup diet is you are teaching yourself nothing much nutritionally when it comes to re-learning how to eat and exercise in a healthy way. That is one of the biggest reasons diets fail. They are not sustainable.
Try it for a couple days at most if you feel you HAVE to have a kick-start, but come back to sensible and smaller eating habits ASAP. Think of the gal who eats a Pop-Tart for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner. She will lose on this 1,000 calorie diet but what do you think might happen when she is off that diet? Her patterns will return to the same way of eating she had when she began and her weight loss and possibly more, will return.
:p Best of luck to you; please post and let us know what happens!

Ive tried it about 6 times and I think I made it all the way to the end of the week once. The biggest thing, I was still hungry and I craved steak (my vice rite there) so badly. Hopefully, Colleens rite with the phen the hunger pains wont be there. Im hopin that after the week I can get used to lots of veggies and fruits and take some of the meat craving away. The recipe I found on this site (I think Ian posted it) sounds alot better than the one I was using its got carrots and mushrooms in it and less cabbage than my recipe. I will post some daily progress to let you all know how its goin. Anyone want to be a cabbage buddy with me let me know!!

Ok all I started my cabbage soup diet day 1. That recipe that i found on here is actually really good. Ive never had it with mushrooms and carrots in it. Let all you all know tomorrow how its workin! Got on the scale today and was under 180 just barely but Im there!! YIPPEEEEE!!! Didnt eat much the past few days though so I was at a stale mate for a few days then downed a bunch of water and it seemed to float off overnite. Til later all!
A much lighter Lynn
