I have been oh Phen for about 10 days, have only lost about 4-5 lbs. maybe I am not eating enough, I am not really hungry until about 2-3pm? urggggggg!!

I started my 1st day of exercise after a 2 month serious battle w/bronchitis.I am proud of myself, my husband dusted off the treadmill for me. He is a marathon runner, so hard for him to udnerstand what we WOMEN go through.

I walked at a slow pace for about 15 min., until my breath was a bit hard, but I did break a sweat. I only did 1/3 of a mile. I fell like i suck at exercise, but at least i got on there. My goal is to get on tomorrow too.

I took my Phen at 9am, did treadmill, ate mini wheats( dry-I love them this way) and water after this, for breakfast.

But I have trouble figuring out what to eat the rest of the day?

I see lots of people on the site lose 10 lbs. a week, why NOT ME? I weighed 200 lbs., now 195, I am only 5 feet tall, but age 43, could my age be a factor?

Anyone want to respond, I will be so ever grateful.

Hugs!

i know exactly where you are coming from. At first my weight just flew off! I was excited. last week I only last 1.5lbs. My weight will fluctuate up and down and it gets so nerve racking. I must admit I haven't been exercising like I should. I am really meaning to nip that in the bud though and do something about it. As we ago though our metabolism slows down and it is harder to get the weight off. I know that's frustrating for me too! I know you can do it though. Just hold on and be patient! Good luck to you!

Thanks Lisa, I love this place, esp. since I am a newbie!
I am not going to get on the scale until Nov. 21st at the DR. office, right before Thanksgiving!

i am going to just go based on how I feel and clothes for a while to keep the faith!

You know that's such a huge problem for me! I am scale obsessed! I know I need to leave it alone b/c when I do weigh in (daily or 2-3x a day) it gets really frustrating. I go up and down. But I did jump into Ms. Martini's November Challenge to do 1500 minutes of cardio. I just finished up 30 mins. The challenge is for 1500 mins of cardio for the month of November. You should check it out! I just started but it's like something is holding me accountable for my actions or lack thereof actions. It helps when you have support, and these girls here are great!!!!!!

Hi, 40! Its funny how this works, but your metabolism gets kick up when you eat more often and always, always eat breakfast.

Count calories, drink lots of water, eat proteins each time you eat...

It's smart to change your life now while you have more willpower. It's the key to sustaining weight loss. Oh, boy; we ALL know about THAT! Gaining and losing and regaining is what drove us to PhenForum!

Thanks Susan,

Suddenly this week, now it is Friday, I do not feel like the Phen is working, so I tried to eat oatmeal for breakfast 1st, then took phen 2 hours later. Beacuse last night, I craved a hot apple & non-fat ice cream thing from Carvel and ate the whole thing. BAD GIRL I WAS!! :(

last week NO sweet cravings, weird, they are coming back.

I am on 30mg, maybe I need 37.5mg, or I hope since I took pill later in the Am, it will keep me good the rest of the day and not BINGE!

Hi 40 I am on the 37.5 I get that way sometimes I feel like I can go with out eating But I do grab a salad or something, Then there are days were I feel a burst of energy and I run with it be in yard work or what have you.

I use to hate to even walk Now I will park farther away from the mall or the grocery store etc Give it some time to work and see what happens We can and will do this .

Look at me i went to weigh in yesterday 11-08-07 I am down 10 pounds That is HUGE for me.
