Hello. My name is Amanda and I live in Arizona. I have a daughter who is almost 2. I have had a problem with my weight off and on for the last 6 years.

It got worse of course after my daughter was born. I didn't gain much weight while pregnant, but I was overweight before I got pregnant. My doctor has had me try many different weight loss plans to no avail. On Monday I saw a Bariatric specialist for the first time and he told me I was indeed overweight (knew that) but not enough for surgery. I didn't want to have to go that route yet anyway. So he put me on Phentermine.

I have been taking it since Tuesday. So not long enough to notice much of anything yet. I have stopped snacking as much tho.
