Well guys, long time no hear from me!! The last time I was here was in August. Ok, a little history. Started phen back in July or so (I think), lost 10 pounds the first week. Then another 3 over two weeks. Yes, I was very excited!! But it all came crashing down one day when I became sick, stomach flu or something. Anyways, I really did not feel like putting much thought into what I was gonna fix for dinner because we all know that it takes time to actually think of something healthy to cook when eating healthy is new to you. So, I just ended up eating any ole thing. As long as I was sick, I continued to just eat any ole thing. Then pretty soon, all of my mojo was gone to continue the diet. Of the 13 pounds or so that I lost, I think I gained back about 5 to 7. Still didnt have my mojo back. Then one day about 2 weeks ago, I went to Golden Corral w/my boyfriend. As I was sitting there eating I saw this lady walk by with a huge mountain of food on her plate and she was really obese. I instantly got my mojo back right that second. I told myself that if I didnt do something now that I could possibly end up looking like her in a few years. So, I re-started phen on 12/03. I know that I have lost some weight, just dont know how much cuz my scale is all whacky!! I probably consume a little over 1000 calories a day, sometimes under I know I am not supposed to do that but I couldnt help it that day. I am exercising at least 30 minutes a day, or every other day; cardio. And I just introduced a little weights last nite. Overall I feel great and look forward to reaching my goal. OH!! And all I drink is water, except for 1 cup of coffee every morning. I want to keep a journal of what I eat, but I dont eat things that are measured; like 1tsp of this or 2 cups of that. I just eat what I think is not a huge portion. Nothing fried, only baked chicken, steak, or whatever and vegtables. So I hope I am doing something right here.

Tanika, I am SO GLAD you came back. Using the tools you learn here will help you get healthy and give you support you need all along the way.

You were gone a very long time; I guess that makes this coming back a bit sweeter!

Yep, I was gone a long time, that's how long it took for me to get my mojo back!! Now I am taking it one day at a time and hoping to keep it! Now I am sitting here trying to figure out what to eat for dinner, it aint easy! It's too late to bake something(7:00ct), so now what? That's all I know to do, is to bake and not fry! I'm so lost!!

Tanika, did we have the recipe section before? Click on FORUMS from the top of this page and it should bring you to that thread after you scroll down a bit.

There are SO many good things.. Oooooh, GIRL! Peanut butter on a rice cake...indulgence for me!
Some whole grain bread, turkey, lowfat cheese, Romaine lettuce and sliced tomato would fit the bill for me..
Hmmm..gettin' HUNGRIER as we speak!

LOL!! Didnt mean to make you hungry! I was very proud of myself. For dinner I made a salad and had turkey soup. YEAH!!! See, I am getting better and better everyday.
