Hello everyone... I am glad I found this forum and appreciate all the information I have read so far. I am at my witts end and feel desperate to lose weight.

In the past 12 months my divorce was final, I have moved twice, and have changed jobs. Along with my two children dealing with such a huge change in their lives and trying to normalize their lives, I have let myself go. I am 5'4" and and not 100% sure, but last I weighed at the Doctors I was about 250 and MISERABLE!

I have used Phen in the past and had wonderful results and will be seeking it again for help. I am in between Dr., while my new insurance kicks in from my new job in July...so will be trying one of the weightloss clinics to see if I can find the help I want.

I plan on signing up for personal training at the gym this week, for at least 7 weeks, and look forward to taking a belly dancing class as well. I know I need to get out and get active and learn to have my own life now that I am divorced. It's hard and I know what I need to do... I just need to do it.

I am sure I will utilize this forum for support, knowledge, and gain motivation from this wonderful community on the forum here... It's great!

If anyone knows of a great place to go in San Diego, please let me know.

Thank you all... and best wishes to everyone on their journey!
K

Wow, K! SUPER START, Girlie!
Remember to set reasonable goals. If you set 15 minutes a day for exercising, it is always easier to check 'done' at the end of each day than to set 1 hour a day as a goal and never reach it.
Got to play some tricks with yourself!

Thank you so much for the advice... I like that 15min goal! I can do that, it's that hours that seems impossible right now with how out of shape I am.

Thank you for the info on Doctors as well, I appreciate that.

You know... This forum is great! When I feel a little down and helpless, it's a boost to read how everyone is doing and read how much everyone supports each other and it helps.
