Hello!
My name is Lisa and what a great site and forum! My story is probably very similar to others. I was on Phen a few years back for 1.5 months and it kick started my metabolism. Once my body clicked, I lost 35 pounds and felt amazing!
We then made a cross country move and life changed a bit and 3 years later I am back up to the weight I lost. I never stopped exercising (3-5x a week; 1-2 hours a day; cardio and weights) and changed my exercise routine but what I know I did change was my eating.
I do not have a large appetite but what I did was made sure I ate 3-5 small meals/snacks per day and before I knew it, the weight literally was melting off me. When we made our move and new life, I stopped eating again due to not being hungry and I think I messed my metabolism up again. (if this can even happen, or so I have been told.)
In between this I also did a few rounds of fertility drugs which also seemed to add weight to my body.
I found this Website and read through a lot of the postings. I didn't want to try the
phentermine again due to the side effects and ordered phen-D yesterday. I can let you know my progress once I receive and start it and would love to hear about others
weight loss journey on phen-d as well.
I am seriously overly frustrated with not being able to lose weight with doing proper
diet and exercise. I even hired a trainer who couldn't understand why I didn't lose weight with the workout and diet she had me on. (Thyroid has been checked 6 times.)
So I am so happy to find a forum that seems to mesh with my issues. I truly hope the Phen-D does give my body the kick start it needs to start dropping weight or I am not even sure what my next step will be. If I saw a few pounds drop and stay down, then I would be more positive right now but I can drop 7 pounds and 2 days later, be up 10. This is what my body has been doing for 2 years and I am done with this extra weight on.
Thank you for listening.
