I have been on Adipex in the past when I lived in Ohio and it did work for me but it wasn't enough to get me down to my goal weight and I am really bad about keeping up with exercise. (I need someone to get on me about it I guess) I am a single mother of 2 boys and I am going to school and trying to work full-time so I don't have time to go to a gym :( I have got several Leslie Sansone videos and would love to do those and have something to give me energy while suppressing my appetite. I am about to order some of the Phen-D so heres to hoping it works better this time around and I can be consistant with it. I look forward to being apart of the forum and hearing advice from you all

First of all...welcome!! We are glad to have you join us in this weight loss journey we are all on.

I understand the difficulties of exercise when you have a full schedule and children...but keep in mind that gyms are not neccessarily the only way to exercise. You have to want to do it, and I make it something that I am doing strictly for myself...not my kids, not my hubby, not my job...just me.

You are welcome to join us in our weight loss exercise challenge that we have going on until Oct. 17, and then I'm not sure what challenge we are going to have next, but hopefully you will join us for it also!

Good luck in your new journey, and we are glad to have you join us!

Hi and welcome!
My husband was complaining about no longer being a member of a gym. He used to go to Planet Fitness and loved the place. We just can't afford it right now.

I suggested he walk outside and THE LIGHT turned on; he did 2 miles this morning. It was SUPER exercise.

Personally, I think gyms are a little intimidating for me...it feels as though, because you pay them money, you HAVE to go and use every part of the facility...and if you don't make it because of our lovely lives and wild schedules...then you beat yourself up over it and feel horribly guilty about not going. When you exercise at home, you can do it while watching TV, during the commercials...after the kids go to bed....after the kids go to school before you go to work...while you are doing laundry...whatever...it fits into YOUR schedule. And the best thing...there is no one there looking at you making you feel self concious if you don't do it EXACTLY right.

But some people enjoy the added security of having other people around them to exercise and that is wonderful too....the key is finding what is the right thing for YOU. No one here is going to tell you what is right or wrong for you....only suggest ideas that might work for you, and if they do, great, and if they don't, well, I bet we can come up with something else that just might work!

Good luck!
