Hello! I am familiar with this site. I had been n it all week researching this pill and reading the pros and the cons. Today is day 2 for me. So far no side effects other than a lot more energy and a very dry mouth. But Ive been guzzling down the water! (Which is what i should have done in the first place!). But anyways I have cute my calories down from about 1800 to only 765! I dont have cravings, and I dont want to eat. But I know I have to eat a little bit though, so a little Special K, skim milk, and some lowfat soup, and I am good to go. I am more motivated to do this than I ever have been. I look at my 1 year old son, and my wedding photos, and thats what has me doing this, and is whats going to keep me going. Thanks for having me!

Be very careful that you don't cut your calories too much...recommended daily intake is 1200 to 1500 per day, and it is best if you divide that up into 6-8 mini meals. The reason you don't want to cut the calories too much is that your body will think you are starving it and start storing even more fat...so that isn't a good thing. Read some of the stickies at the tops of the forums and it will explain it better.

You will find lots of great information, tons of motivation, and wonderful suggestions for making things a little easier on this bumpy road we call weight loss! You will probably make a few friends along the way, too!

So we are very glad to have you here with us!

Hi! Glad you are here. One thing's for sure- that cotton-mouth will make you want your water! I even had to have a piece of sugarless gum going constantly to keep my whistle moist.

I hope you'll read some of our DIETS threads. You can actually lose MORE weight on 1100 calories a day than 700!

Thank you both for your wonderful advice..Today I actually managed to eat about 830..I now see thats not enough. I'll try to fill in the holes with some protiens, fruits and veggies. And I will deffinetlystick to the water! Again thank you so much. This is all very important to me. I have tried just about everything, an this is my final resort.
