I meant to ask advice... I have been on Phentermine 37.5 and doing OK, however I am not sure that the med is really helping that much.. He accidentally wrote my script for Phendametrazine 105mg CR.. I was going to call his office on Monday.. I did not realize this until I got home from picking up my prescription... Well, I got to thinking.. perhaps I should try it? I know he would be cool with it. Has anyone had success with the phendametrazine? I used to take the 35mg three times a day.. it did nothing for me! I wonder if this might be different? What do ya'll think?

I can't answer this one, I'm afraid...I bet that Susan will have an answer for you whenever she checks in...she is awesome with knowledge!

Well, I looked this up and realize now that it is the techical name for Bontril, which is a common med for drs to give in place of phentermine. It is very similar to the phen. I think Susan is more familiar with any differences than I am, but I would say that possibly it wasn't a mistake that he would have you try this in place of the phentermine.

Patty is right on the button here. The timed-released should be taken early in the day and only once.

The immediate-released should be taken before meals, with a full glass of water.

It is necessary for most to take the last one in the afternoon so there will be no sleep problems.

My sister took Bontril and lost over 75 pounds!
