Hi, everyone!! I just started taking Phentermine 37.5mg yesterday (10/24/09)- so this is my third day. I, also, have yet to notice many side effects, but will keep you posted.

I have really put the weight on since I have not been nearly as physically actively as I was in my younger years. lol Plus, I live and help out my 75 yr old mom.

I was diagnosed with sciatica 2 yrs ago due to a couple of bulging disks in my lower back. I cannot afford a specialist but have found a wonderful doctor who helps me to be able to, at least, function. She suggested this medication to help me lose some weight.

I, also, have severe chronic pain - which, I believe, has help me gain some of this weight. I must lose some weight before I can, safely, excercise. This weight really aggrevates my arthritis.....

Anyway, I am busy reading the forums and this is my second post. Got to go now, but will be back!!

We seem to struggle with the same type physical issues. I wish you better health soon. One of the best things to help your body work at least as well as it can, is to feed and exercise it more.

For me, much of my exercise is on crutches because I have no quad thigh muscles in my right leg. That means I do not sprint around! I lame around, right knee locked. I do lots of isometrics.

But it can be done!
