I'm Baaack

I am sure that there are so many newbies that no one but susan remembers me! But I am Cassandra a 24yo stay at home mom to two wonderful boys. I was on phentermine once before and had great success with it! I got pregnant and gained all the weight back... Had my baby.. struggled with breastfeeding and the feeling of always being hungry...and got sick of looking at this huge apron belly that I had from a lot of weight gain with my first son and the two Csections that I had to have them. So in August of 09 I had Surgery to remove it. I lost 10lbs in skin from my belly and another 7 or 8 from lipo that removed some more fat from around my waist...... Now sadly... I am gaining it all back... I guess I love food to much.

I also am now living with my Inlaws while I attend medical school and this is a family of BIG eaters...and BIG people... the bigger the better

. This doesnt work for me. so I need to stop... and regain control.

Today is my new start... a chance to be serious this time and lose the weight again.. not just for me.. but for my family.

I hope to get to know you all like I used to.

Lets all be friends! and do this together!

Hi Cassandra -

I'm new here but it sounds like we have a few things in common! I had my son a year ago and like you, I had a C-section, too. I cannot seem to get this pregnancy weight off but I'm bound and determined! It's nice to see someone else on here who understands the struggle and who can give me inspiration. You know what it takes and you'll do it again!

Awesome Angie! Lets be friends! I would have to say "baby" weight is no joke and is terribly hard to get off! But you I can do it! it just takes time and determination! and we both seem to have both of those.... so lets do it!

Welcome back!! We are glad to see you again!

You have proven that you can do it...so you will do great, I'm sure! I understand about big families, though, my hubbies is like that and mine isn't much better...but that doesn't mean that WE can't be the way we WANT to be! So let's kick some weight's behind and get busy!

By the way, you are welcome to join us in our exercise challenge..the thread is in the Get in Shape forum...we would love to have you join in!

WOW! Cassandra, I am so happy to hear from you and that you are back~LOTS of folks remember you.
There was an exodus to FaceBook which many members now visit each other on. The ones committed to weight loss all remember YOU!

You are brave to return, too. As I know from personal experience, it takes humility and grace to pop back up! SO, THERE YA GO!!

Start by WRITING DOWN and MEASURING everything. That helps us be accountable to ourselves....
