I'm on the phen 37.5 and they are blue and white capsules. I heard there are tablets out there that are same milligram and are stronger.... Can anyone shed some light on this? Also, are you eating 1000 calories or less and losing? I'm at a stand still for the last month and I'm eating 1200-1400. Cardio 5 days a week, lots of water. What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks

Hi sheri, and welcome to the forum!

Phen comes in several different forms, and the 37.5 mg does come in both capsule and tablet form...the best thing about the tablet form is that it can be cut in half and a lot of people just take 1/2 a day, or split it up and take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at noontime because it is not a timed release med and this makes it work a little better later in the day. There really is no stronger than what you are taking....the 30 mg and 37.5 mg actually have about the same amount of medicine in them, but the 30 mg is timed realease and faster acting, and the 37.5 is not timed release and a little slower acting.

I personally am eating usually between 1200 to 1500 calories per day. Eating less than 1000 is not a good idea because if you do this for an extended time, your metabolism will adjust itself to that amount, and anytime you eat more you will gain weight. 1200-1500 per day is a realistic amount to keep full and still lose weight.

If you have found yourself at a standstill, you might try zigzagging your calories and exercise. To do this, you alter your calories and exercise daily to keep your body from getting "bored"....for example calorie intake today might be 1100 and tomarrow might be 1400 and the next day might be 1200 and so on...

Exercise would be the same idea, where you change what you are doing, when you do it, and for how long. Even if you just change it a little it makes a big difference.

Another thing you might try is dividing your calories up into 6-8 mini meals. You actually should do this anyway because it keeps your metabolism revved up all day long.

Keep drinking lots of water, too, because that is great. You are definately on the right track, you just might have to switch things around a little to keep your body guessing what you are doing next.

Glad to have you join us!!

Hi, Sheri. Just wanted to give you a shout-out; we are glad you are on board with us.

On the main forums page , www.phenforum.com/forum , you will see phentermine reviews at the bottom 3...
Another place to check reviews by the car-load, though I can't vouch their authenticity, is Skinny on Diets - www.SkinnyOnDiets.com - Diet & Weight Loss Reviews
