Welcome to the forum!!! We are so glad to have you join us!!
There are sooooo many suggestions I could give you, but I will stick to the most important ones, and the rest you can pick up from reading the threads and posts here...
1. Keep your calorie intake at around 1200-1500 per day...best if you divide that up into 6-8 mini meals throughout the day, being sure to include plenty of proteins and fruits and veggies.
2. Drink LOTS of water..suggested is 80 to 100 oz per day. It is unbelievable how much this will improve your weight loss!! It really does and there are plenty of other benefits of it also, so it is a win-win there.
3. 20 minutes of exercise 3-5 days a week. No, you don't have to go sign up at an expensive gym to do this, it doesn't matter what you do, it can be dancing in your living room or whatever, as long as it increases your heart rate for 20 minutes. Longer is better, but be sure to start kind of slow if you are not used to exercising. If you do this, I guarantee it will make you feel lots better. Exercise is a wonderful mood booster and energy booster also!! And once you find something you enjoy, it is not so much of a "chore"!!
So, that about covers the most important stuff...use this opportunity on the phen to unlearn bad habits and learn new healthier ones. The meds will give you the control to do it much easier.
Good luck!! And welcome to this wonderful bumpy ride we call weight loss!! lol!
