Yeah I don't think I was getting enough. Because on Thursday I ate what a "normal" person should eat in a day and I gained 2 lbs back. I am only on 30mg so maybe I should have my Dr. up it to 37.5 and then start eating more.

Well I went to my DR. today and she told me that I was not eating enough even though I felt full all the time my body was in starvation mode. That is why I plateaued the way I did. She said that if I was truly full to the point where I could not eat 1200 cals a day, then I had to trick my body into thinking that it was not hungry. Eat 6 times a day spaced evenly apart--carrots, popsicles, light turkey sandwich. Otherwise if you are hungry eat 1200 a day and that will pretty much be the same thing. Hope this works.

 Darci, thanks for posting what your wise doctor said. I will never forget when Amanda suggested to me that I eat more calories, too. I did and it was then my loss began. Our tricky bodies!

Not sure how much weight I lost since I refused to weigh myself when I started. But I have gone from a size 16 pants to a 14 and they are way to big. I weighed myself recently, and I was 175ish. I am 5'9" will weigh myself next week.I hate going by weight since I work oput when I can with weights, and all that. Do what feels good for your body.

I have lost 34 pounds in the past 3 1/2 months. I started at 172.5 and as of this morning I am 138.5!!! It is so great to finally see numbers in the 130's again.

Here is my advice to all the beginners out there. Phentermine is NOT a magic pill. It is an aid to HELP you change the way you eat. It will not work very well if you don't work at it. You have to change your eating habits and begin an exercise routine if you want to see maximum results. You will also gain all of the weight you lose back as soon as you quit phentermine if you do not change your lifestyle. A perfect example are my mom and sister. We all three started on phentermine at the same time. My mom has only lost around 15 lbs and my sister lost 20 but has already gained part of it back. The reason is that they did not change their eating habits and exercise. Please do not waste your time and money taking phentermine if you are not willing change your lifestyle because any weight loss you experience will be short lived.
