Chelle- I tell this to everyone who asks me, but here you go:
Eat about 6 small meals a day--lots of veggies, lean meats, and not too many carbs like white bread, white pasta, etc.
Drink lots of water.
Try to exercise at least 4 days a week, but if you can't see yourself doing even that much, at least try to get SOME exercise in each week, whether it's walking the dogs, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, doing some crunches before you go to bed, etc.
And please remember that on Phen/Adipex, it is VERY important to teach yourself to eat right and exercise while you're ON the pill so that when you're off of it you will retain those skills--because you'll need them to keep the weight off! So many people take Phentermine but don't change the kinds of foods they eat and don't try to exercise. They lose some weight, get off Phen, and then gain it all back, often with some extra.
