My Dr. said i am morbidly obese! im not sure that i liked hearing him say that either. iam 5'6 and weigh 209. i hope to weigh around 140. i weighed 98-120 pds. until i was 27 and then i gained weight.

i just started taking phentermine (5 days ago) 37.8? blue speckled white tabs. and B5 shots they seem to be working well for me.

i have hard time sleeping and feel no desire to eat until late evening and i notice agitation towards people> LOL

I took the same pills 5 yrs ago and lost almost 40 pds in 2 months, i felt fantatic! well i kept the weight off for a little over two years. but when i quit my job to be a full time student i started gaining wieght again. im now 34 and dont reconnigize my own face, which is an awful thing. i feel very depressed about who iam and just want the old me back.

As of today ive lost 4 pds. (5 days)

I dont really have any questions becuase i know the side effects, I just would like to talk with others and share.

[smilie=heart fill :

HI christy

Welcome to the forum. You should start a journal in the journal section. A few of us have one and I find it helpful to read them everyday while i am at work :? It helps me keep motivated and I can reflect on how I am going about my habits. I can't keep lying to myself when I reach for that cookie if I write it down right??

Hope you find this helpful.

And I wouldn't say morbily obese maybe he was just trying to scare you to get you to be healthy.

im seeing alot of shows on tv about people who have lost alot of weight and find that their skin is terribly streched, and have to have surgery to remove the extra skin. im not sure what thier weight was, but i was curious if i may have this problem in the stomach area, 70 pds over weight

Make sure that as you loose weight you are working on your abs to tone. Also try to get some firming creams that might help. My mom made me a home remedy and I hope it works I don't want to be flabby.

PS. try to avoid extra hot showers or jacuzzi's the heat will make your skin a lot looser. Try taking a cold shower once in a while.

I can voice my opinion on this one i was 230 4 yrs ago and lost down to 130 in about 8 mnths i didnt exercise i just kinda didnt eat and that is bad let me tell ya, but now im at 140 and i have the extra skin in the belly so i would advise you to definetly do any toning you can for the mid while your losing to help prevent this even though everyone says you look great i see me naked and i dont like it and ive heard any lotion whith cocoa and or shae butter really helped a lot of prego women to keep skin tight and the stretch marks away

I was reading this post from many months ago and had to add, after the doctor called you morbidly obese, that it sure is wonderfully uplifting to know that there is SOMEONE who can be counted on to be brutal with us because we had no idea we were obese. We are blind to all our faults, right?
There are way too many folks that believe the myth that perhaps if they'd stick a sword into us, hurt us, humiliate us, be ugly, acting disgusted, give us the 'eye', we could magically change our behaviors and simply stop all this eating and getting fat.
Years ago after asking my own doctor for a medical booster I knew as phentermine, his answer was that I didn't need it; all I needed was to eat less.
HELLO? HELLO? Anybody home????
