Other than quit smoking this is probably the most difficult thing to do...it takes faith and willpower and if you are diligent then in the long run, you'll make it. Keep posting and do things that motivate you, set 'mini-goals' and rewards yourself (not usually with food) and importantly, read up on nutrition and what your body needs and expects-the more knowledgable you are the more you will be able to make sound decisions.
My Phen is due to be delivered today - hopefully it will be of good quality and not some bogus meds...but as of last Friday (Dec 30), I decided to start this on my own while I waited for my Phen. I'm pleased with the progress so far - it sure has been tough in the evenings though - sitting and listening to my tummy growl and feeling hungry. But, I drink a lot of water (somewhere I read you should drink 1/2 of your weight in ounces of water a day) and am staying with the salads, fruits, vegi's and poultry or fish. I love carbs, so I do allow some of these in my diet, but I'm very cautious about the portion -- sometimes it's just the taste of a potate that you need and not the entire 10 pound bag :-)
Everyone have a great day ---'
