I have taken phentermine on a few occassions over the years and have had success with weight loss each time. I have struggled with my weight for the past five years now and have continued to gain weight and lose energy, thus becoming less physical in every way. At the same time, I have had periods of depression and have taken prozac which helps with depression and anger, but seems to make one feel rather numb or kind of blah, no highs, no lows, no zest. It also makes you lose your sex drive and want to eat a lot. Anyway... since I began the phentermine a week ago,I noticed that I have been happy, energetic, and low and behold.... have a sex drive for the first time in several years. I read the report ,Ian, and it makes sense. Phentermine is acting similar to an antidepressant in the way it effects the brain. I am still getting used to the dosage and do experience a bit of excess adrenaline, but I think that will pass once I get used to it. I am excited about my much awaited success. I went to a weight loss clinic that is very crowded and did not see a doctor. A nurse or assistant gave me a shot of B12 and a sheet with a diet and the receptionist gave me the prescription of 30 mg. yellow phentermine pills. How is it that you can sell phentermine online? Why was I able to get the pills in the office without seeing a doctor? Is phentermine an anphetamine? Why come is it easy to get some places, but not from a regular M.D? Your website is very interesting. Thank you for your time. Myztery

i can not say the same when i take it it did help me lose some weight but man am i moody like mean moody when i take it i wish it wouldnt do that along with the resistance issues, i really liked how it was the first few weeks but after that it wasnt the same . even after cycling off and going back on it wasnt the same.Im glad its doing it for you. From what i read about it it is not a amphetamine but its structure is very close and it has caused urine test to test positive and no drs here will prescribe diet pills (im in fla ) youd think since its a nice beachy place more would! And i havent went to a clinic since i was 18 and was only about 20 lbs overweight so she sent me out the door with a diet plan so if you can get it like that be happy cause im sure its cheaper and i dont know policys on if you were caught with the script from online even though its yours if it was actually legally obtained. If anyone knows about that for sure please post as im curios about it.

A few weeks ago I came down with a really severe virus, I had to go get blood work at the hospital and stay overnight. I tested positive for anphetamines when the bloodwork came back. From taking the 37.5 phentermine. I told them what it was, they just said stop taking it. Of course I said ummmm, no my Dr. gave them to me and they are working..but I think at the hospital they worry about people getting addicted and more of your long term health. So they say stop.

But they do even with actual blood work show as an anphetamine, so if you ever had to take a drug test for work or anything else or have blood drawn it will show. So be sure you can show what it is if that was the case"for work" or something.

They may not be illegal anphetamine, but they are so much the same, that they test the same for several days after a dose.

I was very active and restless when I had first taken them. But became used to them and felt normanl after that. I got mine from my family Dr. I was just at the last straw and he said he had success with the phentermine, he was a very good Dr. so I tusted him. It worked for me, I was not hungry, it speed up my body, and I had more energy.

Myztery, I think it's great that your mood has been lifted by Phentermine! I heard that this is one of the effects from phentermine, although I have personally not felt the mood-lifting symptom myself. Actually, I get pretty sleepy and have a "blah" attitude. My friends have even commented that I'm very calm and mellow, which is a bit unusual for me since I'm a usually a hyper person Then again, I may be taking a different type of pill than you are, although I'm not familiar with any major differences (I take 1 of the 30mg blue/clear capsules a day).

Well, as long as we're losing the weight, that's what matters, right?

Sweety, eat more. Usually, and I found this to be very true for myself and others as well, if you eat a bit more your energy will pick back up. You're just not giving your body enough fuel. Trust me it works...just add a few more calories a day. Nothing outrageous, but just like another 100 or so...it really does help.

Thanks, AmandaDS. I think you're right. I had a feeling it was because I wasn't getting enough nutrition so my body was just tired. I have been eating more (mainly fruits) and have also started taking a multi-vitamin (Centrum Performance). I'm still tired, but I'm working it!

Up your protien...even if it's just to add a couple of spoons of peanut butter a day or whatever. Maybe a boiled egg or some nuts of some kind. Protien will help alot. Give it a shot and let me know if it helps.
