Yes to the sore legs too...potassium and magnesium do help...bananas and water melon work great.(water melon is a great diet food..high in potassium, Vit A, vit B6 and high in lycopene). The number one culprit could be dehydration though. That will make your legs ache for sure and also the lack of food that your body is normally used to before the diet. I alway get the sore legs for a few weeks after starting the phen then my body gets a tolerance for it and they gradually get better. Hot baths help sooth the muscles too. Daisy x

bananas are pretty high in sugar...and for some us (me) that can set off some cravings.

i have had the exact same issues with a deep muscle ache in my calves and the thing that has helped the most is to sort of push through the pain with weightlifting or stairclimbing. sounds weird but it fatigues the muscle or something and makes it relax. when my feet cramp up i do calf raises off the edge of a staircase and it makes them go away instantly.

my trainer said an easy way to get pottassium was to do a shot of warm water with a bit of morton lite salt mixed in. make sure it is the lite salt - the bottle is lighter in color. if you drink the gallon of water every day, you shouldn't have issues with bloating because of it.

also, make sure you are getting enough calcium - i don't do dairy products and if i skip my calcium i get restless legs and it can make them ache as well.
