Has anyone experienced problems with muscle pain due to phentermine. I am worried this may be a sign of serious problems but do not want to over react. Can anyone help!!!

First a question of my own. Are you working out? I ask because I've never heard of muscle pain from Phen. I've been doing ALOT of research on side effects and reactions lately, even written a report on it that should be popping up around here sometime soon, and I've not found anything about that. Let me know!
I would say though, that if you aren't working out and are still having the pain, stop taking it for a while, see your doctor and find out if the Phen is causing it or something else.
let me know!

Well I can tell you that since taking Phentermine I have had some muscle pain in my legs. It started about 2 weeks after taking. My legs felt sore, like a ran a marathon. Especially in the back of my leg. (directly behind my knees or my calves) It went away in a few days but sometimes it comes back every once in a while. It usually only lasts for a day or so and then is gone.

I know it must be the Phentermine because I don’t take anything else and have not changed anything that I do.

Hope this helps.

Most doctors prescribe potassium to go along with diet pills. The soreness sometimes brought on by diet pills, is caused by a lactic acid build up. I'm not doctor, and this may not be your problem. This is just something I've learned to be sometimes the case. I know people who get sore when they haven't eaten much, and they've had little sleep. Then they have to go to work and "work" their muscles all day. It always seemed to be before they had built a tolerance.

I am new to the forum but took Phen awhile back. I found that if did not pay close attention I would not drink enough liquids. This would cause me to have symptoms of dehydration, like leg cramps!

I don't know if that is what is happening with you or not?

It is VITAL to drink lots whether you are on phen or not, as our bodies need a lot of fluids to enable them to work at their best.
