Exactly two years ago I weighed 225 pounds. I had high everything, cholesterol, blood sugar, you name it. I got busy and lost about 58 pounds. That is where I got stuck. I keep going between 165 and 175. I would love to get down to 138-140. A good sustainable weight for me. I just started on phen today. So far so good.

I love reading all your success stories. FYI, I did and still do low carb, due to blood sugar issues. I have had normal blood sugars for 18 months. I still test daily and have my hba1c (three month oveall check of sugars). I am always below average now. So that is why I count my carbs, which are just sugar anyways. It works for me. Problem for me is portion control and late night snacking. Hopefully the phen will help.

Firstly you are doing awesome, second if you are going to snack, snack healthily. Protein is fab, a few nuts, or other bits, snack on veggies as they fill you up.

Remain confident and let us support you and I Am sure you will do fabtastic

we are here for you every step of your journey.

Hi, Annie and welcome to the greatest bunch of online friends you'll ever meet! You CAN DO THIS!! It really CAN be done, especially with a boost from the phentermine. It will help you have the willpower to say no. It didn't help curb my hunger much, as it did for some of the others, but it gave me power over my consumptions!
I ate very healthy foods while I was losing at first. And that's ALL I ate. I have about 5 pounds to go but know that my body now knows better ways to care for itself.
:o I agree with Lea; I eat often and always a little protein and loads of vegetables. I drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. I used to count calories but now it is automatic--I know how many almonds to eat. I count them out now and never eat out of the bag. I eat ice cream....carb smart and delcious, but not 3 bowls...only a small one.
It is downright LIBERATING to be on this side of the fence. Please post and let us know about your first day on phentermine!:p

Thanks for your good wishes. I love this forum. I'm sure I am posting in the wrong place. I'll find my way around. Yep, snacking is my downfall. I am the queen of how many carbs/calories foods contain...I have to be. Cheese gets me every time. Low carb but lots of calories. It's hard to find low carb and low calorie snacks that are diabetic friendly.

You are right though, I need to control my portion sizes and choose more lean protein and veggies. I know all this, putting it to work is another matter.

I am taking the phen tablet 37 mg and I broke that in half this morning. My plan was to take the other half, if needed in the afternoon. Fortunately this is working so far and I haven't needed the other half. I am sure that will change.

May I ask how long you have been taking phentermine?
Also, could you email/pm me regarding the weight loss support "member's" forum? Costs and such.
Or you can answer here, I think I am probably off topic with my request though.
Annie
