I started taking phentermine 37.5 mg almost two weeks ago and so far so good. I have not had any really crazy side effects. The first couple of nights I had headaches, but I attributed that to caffeine withdrawal; I cut out all of my Mt. Dew consumption. I have been eating steamed vegetables, fruit, grilled chicken, and just smaller portions of things I like. I have not been counting calories, but I do look for things lower in fat grams, claories and sodium and higher in fiber. I drink only water and about four bottles a day. I bought a Wii Fit and use that to exercise. I am trying to work myself up to actually go to a gym or something. I have social anxiety and I don't want to add too much stress to my drastic lifestyle changing. I have lost around nine pounds so far. The only thing I am really worried about is the dreaded plateau! I just hope that my continued dedication to dieting and exercising pays off in the end.
