Good morning to everyone! Im extremely sorry for not writing but I have been so busy at work and afterwork.. I just have to give my update incase anyone is wondering wheres Karina... I have not given up and have just a few more pounds to go to reach my goal. ONLY 7 MORE TO GO!!! Guys it has been a big challenge for me and feel a great accomplishment with everything that I've done. Mainly my portions was the hardest but now its easy and Im starting to do more weight lifting besides cardio. I starting a wellness program this week and Im learning how to lift weights properly and do workouts properly and the right way. I know now that you have to concentrate on certain muscles when working them out. You can't just lift and chat etc... you have to also focus. I have tried it and guys you can feel the different when you concentrate. Im also learning on calories and whats good for your body and whats not. Im really excited!!! I really feel good and everyone tells me I look good so that means I look great! I just want to say that it was not easy and sometimes I did get emotional and frustrated and felt like quitting but than I would say NO I've come a long ways to quit now. So I just started looking for different things to do afterwork. One I put one of my daughters in cheerleading and one in basketball and my evenings you know where Im at. I munch on stuff during the day when I gets hungry like beef jerky, peanuts, crackers and lettuce wraps which I put turkey and lettuce little tacos in the refrigerator and when I get hungry I eat those. I drink water and juice most of the time and now I just started drinking coke but not alot maybe 8 oz or so. Once a day. It was a struggle and now its more like a success, so all I can say take your time and do it. Dont give up, you owe it to yourselves to look and feel great! Any advice Im here guys. Im still taking phentermine 3 times a week and after this bottle is gone pills are gone. Just remember I havent forgotten anyone of you and you'all kept me motivated in the beginning so tons of thanks on that!! You all have a great day and a great weekend. Think Healthy!

WOW Karina!!! You're certainly doing good!!! So, how long were you on the Phen & taking them EVERY day??? Three times/week isn't bad...I may try that soon!!!

Thanks Sweet4Jay,

I took it for maybe 5 months 5 times a day mon-fri and not on the weekend. Its usually when I used to eat alot here at work since they be having tons of pot lucks and out on restaurants alot.. I can say after I felt confortable with my portions I went down to 3 times and have been sticking to that since. Im very confortable now with my portions and also with healthy eating and I do eat tons of fruit and maybe a coke every now and than. Im going to stop taking phentermine as soon as I meet my goal. I will let everyone know how I feel than.

All I can say is that I had tried other diets and none worked and felt so miserable and now its like Im a whole new person. I can wear anything I get and get complimented. Its a very good feeling. So I know I will stay focus on my health. Im on this wellness program now and its great it helps me with my food and exercises on what to target and tone up. Friday it suppose to be on meditation how to cope with stress so I can't wait for that. I just keep myself busy...

Oh my goodness Karina!!! That's EXACTLY how I feel!!! I feel like a WHOLE new person! I am comfortable in my own skin once again, I can wear ANYTHING in my closet (actually, almost all of it is now too big! :eek & I once again have the confidence that I haven't felt in YEARS!!! All of this was lost just b/c of FOOD!!! :(
I felt like I was "trapped" by food!!! :( I too feel like I am in-control of my portions (FINALLY!) & have learned how to make better choices on my own free will!!! I eat fruit, but not lots, LOTS of whole grains, lean protein (mostly chicken or turkey or 96% lean ground beef), veggies w/ no butter, sweets in moderation, & everything else in moderation as well! I do NOT deprive myself of ANYTHING cuz this would just be setting myself up for failure! If I want something, I eat it!!! There is nothing wrong w/ this, as long as you only have a SMALL portion of what it is that you're craving. I know this is hard for some ppl though, cuz some ppl can NOT control their portions no matter how hard they try! :confused:

Just wanted to say that I reached my goal 130 pounds and am so excited. I am at 7/8 size I think. I haven't really gone shopping shopping but will have to soon. You guys are doing so great and any goals outhere just stick to them. You will be surprise when they are accomplished. I was feeling a little bad this past weekend. I went to eat with my husbands boss and I didnt have much to wear so I wore this big black sweater and everyone was like you look great and hugging and stuff especially the girls they were excited for me at least thats what I thought. anyways when he went to work the next day they told him that I was too skinny that I need to stop loosing weight. That they were worried about me. Guys I felt terrible and still do. I talked to my trainer and she tells me its just my clothe that I need to get the right size so they can see me. It amazed me that I was criticized like that and if you see they're wifes they are like bones on size 5 and 6 and maybe 7. I really felt bad. I felt better when I came to work cause here everyone knows all my struggle and Im they're motivation and they think I look great. anyways I did get off phentermine now so its been a week and seems ok so far. Im working out on my strenght training and hoping to tone up. well just wanted to update and guys your doing great keep up the good work!!
