It affects the feel good and bad part of the brain. I think the serantonin level it makes them whacked in some pple.jmo Unfortunately that's one of the biggest complaints and side effects, some have had to stop taking it, do to that. Either stop or get a Divorce. That would suck, either one.

ohh this happens to me too. I'm an angry sob the first few days I start up ... (I've stopped a few days and then start up again every now and again cause I'm paranoind about being addicted to it.) It TOTALLY gives me PMS.. angry, weepy, and break out like no other.

Well its wierd because one minute Im like in this dull zone where people could walk all over me and the next minute I wont take anyone's attitudes or actions for a second before I tell them how it is. Generally though - and quite honestly - I feel better all around so Im more happy more often. The weight loss only adds to it.

Sounds like a case of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde." that phen can bring out in some ppl. Well worth putting up with to lose some unwanted lbs.,though.

As long as it does not interfer with other parts of your life and you don't become a "Train Wreck" as one member stated on here and she had to stop taking it because of her attitude.

I hope things keep going well for you. ttyl c.c.

I am naturally a moody person. I did notice that I get upset a lot easier since taking phen.. But wierd enough I have more patience for my son who drives me nuts. Just try to pay attention to your feelings and moods. Thats what I do, I realize that the phen has a huge part in it so I try to humble myself.

But it does help to control my eating so I dont wanna stop. any suggestion????
Ive noticed and others around me have noticed that it makes me moody as well. I take the 37.5. Maybe we should take the advice listed and take 1/2 and see what happens.

Hmmm... I've never noticed any irritability or anything on it! I guess it affects different people different ways. You might want to try some kind of St Johns Wort supplement, my friend swears by it!
I have noticed that I get a little "spacey" though. Maybe that's just me though, ha ha!
