Very moody and its my 2nd month???

well Im on my 2nd month of phentermine and I have noticed I seem to be very irritable! What is going on does anyone else have this problem. I thought maybe it was hormones although I did not take my pill yesterday and I was in a great mood yesterday and today. I have not taken yet today. But it does help to control my eating so I dont wanna stop. any suggestion????

Gees..that doesn't sound enjoyable; I understand your reluctance to take it, for sure. I think I'd skip it today altogether, if you think you can do it.

Why don't you try 1/2 a pill every morning instead of the whole 37.5 mg? Give your doctor a quick call and let him know what you are trying. Sometimes just a little change can make a huge difference.

Unless you were moody before these pills then it's the phen.

I've read about it time and time again anyways. Even if you were slightly moody before the phen,the phen will make you worse.

Some ppl can not take these pills because they become so irritable.

Sometimes it will go away and sometimes it gets worse the longer your on them.

The only thing I would suggest is to realize why your getting angry and try to control it there's really not much more you can do or besides just stop taking them.

You can always try what Susan suggested and not everyone gets irritable on these pills, we all react differently it sucks though, I'm sure, especially if want to continue on them.

What are your caffeine intake habits?? My doc warned VERY Strongly against taking phen within 2 hours of caffeine intake. She said if you drink a cup of coffee in the morning make sure you wait 2 hours before taking your phen. In the pamphlet they give out it says that "Taking phentermine with in 2 hours of caffeine intake may make you feel irritable, comparable to a very severe case of PMS.

I gave up my coffee since I started the Phentermine because I wanted to avoid this. I hope that this is in someway helpful for you. Good Luck!

My husband read my pamphlet and said that he wants to take one of my pills and drink a lot of coffee so he can know how I feel when I am being evil, and he can then be evil too. Hehehehe He thinks he is so funny! (secretly I do too)

Ive become very irritable and inpatient on it too but I didnt notice it being any worse on the two days I had diet pepsi max versus the days I had no caffeine. Ive almost bitten off my hubby's head a few times. My hubby says he can deal with it though since im loosing weight, which makes me happier in the long run and him more frisky...
