I had high blood pressure issues and I waited until I lost some pounds on my own first before taking and weight loss pills. I read that taking phentermine while having high blood pressure is not good. Crazy thing is that being overweight can contribute to a person developing high blood pressure. That sucks. I would say try losing some weight on your own, reduce your salt in take and try to gain control over any possible high blood pressure, then go back to your doctor and ask for the prescrib to Phen. At least this time she/he may feel better about giving it to you if your pressure is lower.

I am currently on Micardis HCT 40mg (1 x per day). I am also on Phentermine 37.5mg and are going through a weight loss clinic. I have lost 7.2lbs in 7dys and I really do not enjoy the way this is making me feel.

I have been on Phentermine before the weight loss clinic and have never had any problems with it prior to the weight loss clinic in which I am in now. I think it's due to the reduction of caloric intake of a total of 500cal per day, which is making me lightheaded and unable to stop spinning during the day, so I am cancelling my membership with the weightloss clinic and doing this the way that I began and that is by eating healthier and working out daily.

Make sure that you ensure that your doctor is monitoring your BP or better yet, try to get your doctor to prescribe a blood pressure apparatus for you to monitor daily.

Best regards!

Pep, thanks for some great advice! You SHOULD have started that 'diet' with at least 1,000 calories a day.

Here's my story and I'm sticking to it~
