Hi all, I am a newbie here on the board. I spent the last 2 days reading threads on the board. Here is a couple question I have in regarding to the weight Loss Clinic...

Weightloss Clinic Search
San Jose Weight Loss Clinic & Doctor Directory - OmniMedicalSearch.com

How much does it cost to see the Doctors in the weight Loss Clinic to get a Phentermine Prescription?

Using the clinic search website above, this Weight Loss Clinic is really close to my home.

Dr. Syverain Weight Loss Clinic
88 W. Tully Road.
Suite 110,
San Jose, CA 95111
(877)256-6324 (Toll Free)

Does different Weight Loss Clinic charge different fees? Should I shop around for these Weight Loss Clinic?

I am currently unemployed and returning to college, so I don't have health insurance and money is extremely tight. But, I really need to lose 40 lbs. or more so I can live healthy and regain my confidence again.

Thanks for your helps!

Hello there! I am not sure about the cost...call and see and then maybe they will let you know what the services include...let us know how it goes. Take care!

All of the clinics I came upon vary alot when it comes to cost and services.

Make sure you ask them what kind of services they provide, whether they use weight loss drugs, and how much everything costs.

I called many places and found some places require you to get injections and some dont. Some places require a contract for a certain amount of months (which I couldn't do cuz I'm a student too )

The most expensive one I found charged $140 for the first visit and the first week's supply of pills.
The cheapest place I found (which I'm going to) charges $100 for the 1st visit and first 2 week's supply of pills. Then they charge $40 every two weeks after that. No contract required.

It probably depends on where you live too. Calling and asking around is probably your best bet. Oh yah... I looked on that weight loss clinic website too, and it only showed one place in my city (that didn't use weight loss drugs at all!!). Try google instead. It brought up almost all of them.

Good luck! I hope this helped!

I encourage everyone who hasn't thought of this yet ( I didn't until I read it in a post in a forum) is to look in your phone book. I went to the yellow pages under weight and found two clinics in my area. Both had websites. The one was one where you pay $135 first visit and you get all sorts of info etc and a weeks worth of pills, but then the other (where I went) is one where you only pay $90 a visit. I was scared that it would be $90 a week but when I went I pay $90 first visit and I got a script for 30 days that I got to fill on my own. I bought brand adipex for $75 because it was a present to myself and didn't go with generic $25 but when I go back after 30 days I pay another $90 and get a 60 day script. They want me off it after 3 months (blah) but hey, not to bad of a price. And it is all because I looked in the phone book.

I found a pretty good one on my town, Abilene TX... Quite expensive to start, about $160 (but not as expensive as many of the iffy Phentermine pills sold on the internet! ) which includes all kinds of info, help with healthy eating, exercise schedule and what not. And of course a MONTH of pills. Then it's only $60 per month after that.

I think $15 per week (what it breaks down to) is a pretty good price for a weight loss program, especially when you consider how expensive all the ones advertised on TV are and you don't have to buy any special food etc.
