This is not working. Its been two weeks, eat salad with no dressing, no fatty foods no fried foods, always hungry. Take 5-htp with phen.... nothing. I had a pill in South Africa called Thinz, but it was with ephedra, not this fake Thinz in the USA, off the market now because some people miss used it and now the people that really need it can't get it anymore. That was amazing and work like nothing I've ever tried. The pill was doing the work and you don't have to starve yourself to death to loose weight. I'm so down and dont know what to do anymore. If i do eat 5 small meals a day, I gain weight. Can somebody who lost a lot of weight on this so called phen please tell us what to eat and when and how much.

Hello Leezette,
I'm sorry you aren;t getting the results you were hoping for from phen. I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but you can't take phen and expect this magical pill you help you loose all the weight you want. It's a lifestyle change and it's a long hard hard road. Somedays you wanna just give up and throw it all down the drain. The hardest part is starting this new life. Eating right, exercising and getting enough sleep. Life has so many curve balls and nothing ever works out the way we would like it too. If I had it my way I would have a chef and personal trainer, instead I gotta be my own

My questions for you are when you eat 5 small meals, are you using correct portion sizes? You shouldnt have to stare yourself. You can eat more then just salads.
Try not to think of it as a diet...its a lifestyle change. I still eat ym banana cream pie. I can't live without it ever once in awhile. Portion control is key, exercise is your best friend, and phen is just a tool. It doesn't work the same way for everyone. This message board is a great place, we can all give you tips and encouragement. There are lots of posts to look at, try looking under the recipes, it will give you some ideas.

I agree 100% with what jennabug is saying here!! Thanks, jennabug!!

There are no simple ways to lose weight...if there were we wouldn't all be in this boat together....we would be on the beach in our bikinis!! You have to be prepared to put the effort in or else even if you do lost the weight you want, as soon as you stop taking the meds you will go right back to where you started. Phen is simply a tool, not the complete answer. We are having good results because we are doing the work that needs to be done also....it is a very long road, and we can't expect miracles. No one can do it for us.

So, all I can suggest is to keep working at it and keep you chin up.

I lost 10 pounds my first week..
I wake up at 7am for work i do pilates 10 min. ev. morning before work

breakfast - (9:00 am )lemon water and pc. of fruit and black coffee no sugar or cream

i walk every day at this park for 1/2 hr. to 45 min briskly...

Lunch - (12:00) hard boiled eggs (sometimes 2)

Snack - (1:30)salad w/any veggies i wanted and olive oil and vinegar dressing

3:00 pm watch "The doctors" show and jump rope 100 times between commercials

Dinner - (4:30 - 5:30) meat, veggie (as much as i wanted)

Snack - (7pm - 8pm)strawberries (sometimes frozen) grapes, peach or apple and tea w/splenda no milk

thats pretty much all i eat most days...

You HAVE to EAT and EXERCISE Do something everyday to get your heart going even if you just jump off your couch and do the twist during commercials...10 jumping jacks..15 squats mix it up ..your body will start moving I gaurantee it

Also keep a positive attitude i swear depression holds weight on ....so SMILE and picture your self thin

Thanx to everyone. Since I start drinking 5-HTP I feel much better. I do eat right and I'm not obese at all, Im a singer and on stage and on photos I just look to heavy. My dr told me, because Im not obese I don't have much weight to loose and thats why this is going so slow. The 5-HTP lift my mood so much that I just feel so much better. Thanx to all of you.
