Can I Be Fired For Using Phen? Is It Legal?

I know my DH's Paxil can cause false positives because one of its ingredients is derived from THC in marijuana. He just has to tell them up front what he is taking and provides the docs name and phone number so they can verify if need be.

Sometimes when they see the list of what you are on, they won't even bother to read your test results because of the possiblity of false positives.

DH had to take one when he was promoted to manager of a personal care home a few years ago.

I rethought this and I think This is a good question to ask your pharmacist. I would think that since it is a drug that is controlled, you may have a problem if you are taking it without a prescription. If you have a prescription then there is nothing to worry about.

Needtolose--I know what you are saying-but if you have phen it has to be prescribed to you.

In most cases yes, but some people find other ways to get medication. I am just covering all of the bases for the poster.

I work in a hospital and if you get popped for anything on a pee test. Then you have to have a vaild script IN YOU NAME. Otherwise it is grounds for term. Since it is in your name the only thing to worry about. Would be what the others were saying about the exp date.
