It's not because
Phentermine changes your body so it's easier to
gain weight back. I must clear this up: I should delete that post
where I agreed with marimak because it's poorly worded.
That certain percentage of people who are genetically prone
to
obesity tend to have a lower level of neurotransmitters,
so Phentermine doesn't work as well for them because
neurotransmitters are what Phentermine manipulates to
make you feel satisfied instead of hungry.
Don't worry about it. I must have been very tired when I said that.
The only way Phentermine could be construed to contribute
to obesity is when someone takes for a while and doesn't
try to eat better foods and exercise to teach their body to
like the right stuff so that they don't gain the weight back.
I should have said it was indirectly related to gaining weight back,
and it doesn't have anything to do with neurotransmitters.
This only applies to the people who aren't eating good foods
and exercising. Those people will probably gain the weight back
after they stop phentermine, and most people who do that
gain it back PLUS some more, which is why I said it could
contribute to obesity.
People who use Phentermine as a crutch will gain weight back,
plus some more maybe.
People who use Phentermine as a tool to teach their body
to love the right foods and exercise for permanent
weight loss
will experience just that... Permanent weight loss. They will
probably lose extra weight after using Phentermine, too.
