Q: What Does Phentermine Look Like?

I found a capsule that is blue and clear with blue and white inside and the inscription A-173 on both ends of the capsule. Any idea if it is phentermine?

I too just got some "phentermine" pills with a-173 imprinted on them, I have been doing a ton of research to see if they are legit...Can anyone confirm???

Ian,

I got nervous when I saw the images of the Phentermine tabs/capsules you posted, especially since I recently began taking 37.5 mg strength marked A 159. You labeled the A 159 as a recalled tab from Able Labs, however a few posts later you reassured someone that the A 159 is manufactured by Amide Pharmaceuticals. I cannot find it on any of the recall lists. Can you provide the source of your information and where you found the tab image so that I may look into it further?

MzLaughAlot, I'm so sorry for causing you that extra stress. That was totally
my fault, and I have fixed it. I got them mixed up. The code of the pill
that was recalled is actually A257, not A159.

So you're right: If you've got A159, you've got quality Phentermine made
by Amide Pharma.

Again, I'm sorry for that. I'm never adding new info late at night again.

I was out with my doctor tonight. She was asking me how I was doing on the Adipex. She said to make sure to get the white ones with the blue specs. This was purely by her observation of how the white pills work. I told her about this site, and she was glad to know that her observations were validated.

I have one question though. I got my prescription at Walgreens. My tablets are white with a R316 (the 1 looks to be backwards though). I think they are alright, but was curious if anyone else had these. When I get my refill, I'm going to ask my pharmacy to see if they have the ones that are white with blue specs.

It's interesting that there are so many types. I've never asked a pharmacist for a certain type of pill before
