Nope! Lol, there is no difference between Phentermine 37.5 mg tablets and
Adipex (also 37.5mg) tablets.

However, there are other dosages of Phentermine available, such as 15mg
and 30mg.

Yes, that is true, but there is no difference in how they work on your body.

Phentermine is generic, and Adipex, Ionamin, Fastin, etc. are brand-name.

I have heard that the generic brands generally are less pure than the name brand. For this reason, results are sometimes better from Adipex than the generic, phentermine. The reason for this is that Phen's makeup is slightly different from that of Adipex. This also makes sense when you consider that Adipex is a lot more expensive than Phentermine. However, if you take the generic you are still likely to have success, as the differences between the generic and name brand are barely noticeable...

I always looked at it like clothing. You can by the name brand or the boot leg. But, I am not so sure if it works the same way with pills.

The active ingredients in the brand-name and generic products are the same. Both the brand-name and the generic versions must have the same potency, be available in the same dosage forms (i.e. tablet, liquid, injectable), be demonstrated safe and effective, and be manufactured under government-approved Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Significant differences in any of these areas would mean the generic drug would not be approved by the FDA, and therefore would not be available. Although the inactive ingredients such as fillers and dyes are allowed to be different, these ingredients should not affect the safety or efficacy of a drug in any way. In fact, brand-name as well as generic companies often change these inactive ingredients...with FDA approval, of course
