Hi all,

Ready to take the plunge and try this out. Nervous about the headaches and dry mouth and rapid heartrate - so I'm thinking of ordering the 15mg - I think that's the lowest dosage. Any stories to share about the lower dosage? Okay, that's part one of my question

- here's part 2 - if I go with the higher dose - 30mg - could I take it every other day and still be effective. I'm plan on working out on the day I would not be taking the pill -- what do you think? and yesssssss, i'll talk with my dr. but wondering to hear about your input.

I just started on phen last friday myself and I had the 30 mgs. I wish now I would have ordered the 15 to start out on. That way I could have taken one in the morning. Then maybe another one in the evening once I started building up a tolerance. But now I am on 30 and no way in hell am I going to take 2 of those a day.

As for you working out on your off days. If it helps you any, I run a mile every day. As for if it will still work if you take if every other day. Not sure about that one. I notice when the pill kicks in and when it starts to wear off. Normally it last about 4 or 5 hrs at full strength in my system. But this is just me.....

NOW THIS IS JUST ME BUT...
I've been on the 30 mg pills for 17 days and I take them every day at 8:00am. I then wait about 15-20 or so, which is about as long as I can stand it because I am so hungry. However, I have learned to start with one of those little cups of applesauce and that is about I can manage to shove in my mouth before I fill completely satisfied. I tried eating 1/2 a bagel or a Special K bar but could never finish either of those. And when I say that I'm 'completely satisfied' I mean if I tried to eat another bite I'd be sick. It's like mid-thanksgiving dinner all day long.
Around 1pm I start to get a little hungry but after a few bites of anything I am full again.
However, around 6pm I am hungry. Really Hungry. I've had days where I feel like I'm going to pass out before I even walk in the door at home (I get home around 7pm - btw). And again after just a lite dinner I am full again. I have started trying to eat a snack around 3 or 4 to ensure that I don't starve at 5 or 6pm.

Anyway, I figure that the full effect of the pill last me about 9-10 hours, which is pretty good.

As for the dry mouth and headache: the dry mouth has been a blessing in my case because I am sure to drink my water. Plus, I used to drink about 6 or more canned Dr. Pepper's a day and I haven't had one in 17 days!!!!
And I haven't had a headache at all - not even a slight one.

Tuesday I did not take a pill because my doctor's appointment was so late in the day and I paid for it! I was hungry all day. I know that the pills are still in your system if you miss a day but I honestly could tell a huge difference. Granted some of it could have just been in my head but I did eat more and was actually hungry. So I don't know if skipping a pill would work for you or cause you to just over indulge on the days that you didn't take it.

PLEASE REMEMBER ALL OF THIS IS JUST ME ~ AND WE'RE ALL VERY DIFFERENT.

So I took the plunge and purchased 60 - 15mg from Pharmacy USA for $139 plus 19.99 for shipping - yikes!

Thanks for your input - they'll arrive on Wednesday. I'll let you know what 15 mg is like -

I hit mine about 9:30am.

I start with a slimfast at about 6am, and I drink TONS of water. Then about 9-10 I start feeling a little hungery so I wash down my Phen 30mg with a bunch of water and that does me good until around dinner time.

(Keeping with the tons of water theme through-out the day)

I have had great success with that set up so far and I will stick it out until I am at my goal weight.

Are they really THAT much to purchase online? Wow.

Yeah, prices online are not that great.... especially at Pharmacy USA.
Their 90 Phentermine 37.5 mg is $199!

Wow, thats high dollar.

I got mine over the counter in Tijuana for about 30 bucks.
Doctors here are not so quick to perscribe weight loss pills.
