Has anyone ever had to take a drug test while you were using Phentermine?
If so, did you test positive for taking methamphetamines?

I haven't been drug tested but in the health class that I took, there was a girl who worked with the California Highway Patrol and she told us that if you were involved in an accident and they drug tested you it would be a DUI because the CHP considers it a narcotic even if you have a prescription from a DR.

I just received a sad email from a mom who underwent a routine drug
test while she was taking Phentermine and Synthroid, and she ended up
testing positive for methamphetamine. Social services has taken custody
of her kids, and she was very distressed.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm sorry to hear that. They're getting tougher on things like that. Even if sudaffed is in your system and you're in an accident they still get charged with something. I work with kids in a low income program and it's very hard for some of these kids to deal with things like this. Hopefully the kids will go to a familiar and safe place so it won't traumatize them too much while their mom works on getting them back. I hope things work out. Good luck.
