NO SLEEP....NOW ITCHING LIKE CRAZY

:eek: I've been taking Phentermine (Adipex) for a week now. Day 1, great...but after that I had the worst time sleeping...I'd fall asleep, but then wake up like 2 hours later...not being able to fall back asleep. NOW, last night I noticed that my face broke out in a red blotchy look :shock: . Nothing serious looking like hives, just kinda blotchy and my face and scalp itched like crazy :smt101 . It itches a little bit now, but nothing like last night. I didn't take my Adipex this morning b/c I'm waiting for the Doctor to call me back. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm curious to know how long side effects last, and if anyone had to stop taking the meds b/c of them.

Yesterday was day three on Fastin for me and last night I started itching like crazy :eek: , Still itchy this morning, haven't noticed a rash yet.

I had that experience once while taking phentermine manufactured by PurePac. Once a rash appeared, I stopped taking it immediately, & I haven't taken any medication made by PurePac since then. People will say that the generic drugs are exactly the same as the brand names, but that's not exactly true. The "fillers" that the drug companies use may be very different. Some companies use bird feathers as "fillers" for the medications they make!
Also, there is an allowable variance for genetics.
I haven't experienced any problems of itching, or rashes with medications made by other pharmacutical companies.

Hey,

I used to get a burning/itching crazy sensation on my breast. Then I realized an hour after I had Phen, I had this protein shake.. and the day I didn't I had no problems. I also recalled a year back, when I took one phen, i had atkins choco milksahke, samething happened, i got scared and stopped! I've been ok now.. so maybe its something that's reacting w/ it? allergies??? Also, some research suggest thyroid .. but I am not sure.

The itching ,the picking at ones skin is a common side effect brought on by the speed like effect on your nervous system
