the phentermine has an affect of ephedrine in which it aids with asthma, i notice that i no longer need to use my inhaler medication while on phentermine, as well as i smoke more without the problems with my airway and lungs.

Anything with "ine" on the end of it (caffine, amphetimine, phentermine) are all in the same family of beta2 agonist....for instance asthma meds like albuterol, which you may be familiar with are beta2 agonists. They all act as broncodialotors (they dialate your lungs). They also all are alpha 1 agonists too which accounts for the increased heart rate.

My husband and i both r taking phen and we r both smokers. Now we r heavy smokers. a carton use to last a week and 1/2 for the both of us. Now it last about 3 or 4 days.
