I had a tubal ligation in 2001 and have had a VERY HEAVY period ever since.... I'm talking drives me nuts!! I've never had a heavy one until after the tubal... anyways long story short.... I started the Phen this past Saturday... during my period....and it was the lightest it's been since my tubal. Man I'd like to keep it this way!! lol

omg kimber i have the same problem. I have always actually had abnormally light cycles, but since my tubal they are not only ALOT heavier but also a day or two longer. I have never blamed it on the tubal because I had given birth by c-section and had the tubal done at the same time. I figured it was probably due more to 3 pregnancies/c-sections in 6 years, scar tissue, etc. Is there nothing that can be done about it? I plan on asking my doctor, but since you had yours in 2001-have you come across anything info/procedures that might help?

Not a great combination. I'm 47 and this is like the third time in my life I've been using some type of weight loss med (first two times at age 25 and 31 using pills no longer available...damn the FDA). Anyway phentermine works pretty well, but really slacks off the week before and the week of my period. I've taken two pills instead of one and I'm still looking for chocolate. After the period stops, it's back to normal and phentermine works just fine.

Any tips on how to combat the cravings during T.O.M.? Help, I can feel it coming on for next week!! And I'm down to 2 1/2 pills...must reorder!

How mylittlepharmacy working for everyone? That's where I bought from last...

I can usually refrain from my tom cravings, but last month I was really stressed out too and I gave in. Not just a little, it was a serious straight 4 days of sweet/salty bingeing. The only thing I know to do about it is to not keep unhealthy things in the house. It wouldn't have been so easy to do had the cabinet not been stocked with junk, but if anyone has the problem I do, which is a husband who refuses to join in my quest to be healthy, that's not an option. If a shopping week goes by that I don't supply him with box upon box of little debbies/cookies, chips, etc, there will be hell to pay. No matter how much weight I'm losing or what diet I'm on. I wish I did know a tip or trick to keep those cravings at bay, but I don't know that one exists. For me it's more about damage control.

"I see a lot of healthy ****. I hope you bought me some treats for after dinner" is what I hear after the husband has gone through the bags from weekly shopping. Says he has to accompany me to make sure he doesn't starve all week! But to be fair, most of the junk I was eating I bought away from the house: cafeteria at work, the supermarket nearby...

Anytime I don't buy snacks and treats, the husband is crying. But then wonders why he can't stay asleep (sugar binge an hour before bed)

If it's a good week for phentermine, I could live in a chocolate factory and not even be tempted. I've got to really just get some willpower; maybe if I crack I could have like a sugar-free hot chocolate or something.

Thanks for your suggestion of not buying. I'll have to switch the husband to something better for him as well. Gotta keep him healthy for the long haul; how could I spend my retirement in the caribbean without him? We just celebrated 20years married (22 together) in April 2006!

It is really important to remember that during T.O.M you are bound to weigh more and not to get upset if weigh in's appear higher yet you haven't changed what you are doing, water weight in crud but will soon go.

Gah!! I am due on.. not impressed!!
