How long have you taken it? I tend to plateau and I generally take a few weeks off of it to level out. I didn't know about this site and hadn't read the report about how to keep from building a tolerance for it so I'm anxious to try again and see if the amino acids and/or fewer cups of coffee each day makes a difference.

I know that vitamins help and water makes a big difference. Whether you're on phentermine or not, dehydration can really slow you down so make sure you're getting enough water. I'm hypoglycemic so during PMS I tend to eat things that are not good for me nor my energy level ... I have to have a protein with every meal and stick to good carbs if I want to maintain energy and keep from being really irritable. There are lots of factors that can play a role, however, hope this triggers some ideas that might help .

That is strange. Phentermine is a stimulant but I guess it could have a different affect on some people. For me, some sleeping pills (particularly OTC) will cause me to stay awake all night . Have you checked your blood pressure? Are you eating enough?

I have to say, I've never heard of phentermine having that affect on anyone, particularly on the first day. Did you do any blood work prior to starting the phentermine? It might not be a bad idea to have everything checked out.

Hi all!

I've just been on phentermine a week....but I noticed that only the 1st days did I feel full. I no longer feel that way..plus I still get hungry throught out the day. :( I have stopped drinking diet sodas..'cuz i was hooked. I am now proud to say that I drink @ least 64oz of water a day..I'm working up to 128oz. \/

I feel nothing except I'm, thirsty all the time..I've only lost 3 pouunds this week. Maybe it's just me???

Anyone have the same problem?? :(

Thanx!

I'm taking 37.5mg A-159..I snack once in a while...& as for balanced meals...does semi-balanced count? LOL I need to try harder...but w/3 kids..there is always "bad" snacks around. I'm going grocery shopping this weekend so I hope to restock w/healthy stuff.
