I've been away for a long time but am glad to report that I stopped using phen 10 days ago and have maintained my weight. I even actually lost 2 lbs. I was afraid of stopping because I keep reading about how people have lost over a hundred lbs to then gain it back and are retrying this again. I am down to 119...FINALLY! And 4 lbs. lower than my initial goal. I started out at like 173...and my small 5'4 frame was not made for 173.

I now only do 30 minutes of cardio and then weights 3 days a week. I am still working on toning up my body but am very close. I also have been eating the same and drinking tons of water even though my mouth isn't dry.

Heres my thing. Have the ones on this forum that have lost and then regained 50+ worked out while they were initially on phen? Did you eat everytime you were hungry because your appetite wasn't suppressed? I think alot of people think that once you're skinny you can stay there with no effort. Being born naturally thin, being able to go back to a slim build once you lose all the emotional weight gain, and then being naturally heavy and struggling to be thin are all very different.

I am the second one.I gained alot of weight when I was dealing with a bad relationship/breakup and when i got down to 140 I was able to maintain it for over 3 months with little effort so now I know that I can stay at 120 and only have to work out to keep toned but not because of fear of weight gain.

I'd love to hear about you ladies. It seems as if alot of you have been yo-yoing and that seems very unhealthy but then in the long run kinda pointless maybe because it's gonna happen again...? I'm not trying to be mean at ALL with that comment. I just want to get an understanding on what went wrong and what is the reason why everyone thinks that: Yes! This is it! NO MORE BEING A WEIGHT THAT I HATE!!!

any response would be cool. I read this forum constantly and don't really post because I'm lazy.

Well i lost about 100 lbs about 4 years ago i didnt do it on phen but on ephedra, same result no appitite. I became pregnant and had to quit my job exercise everything do a problem w/ the pregnancy i gained about 50 lbs. My son is now 3 (sat) i am still at 140 was 150 when starting the phen but i constantly have to watch what i eat i can gain 10 lbs in no time so i think when people who lose go off the phen they dont have the app control therfore they eat and boom theres the weight i can say since being very big i now have to watch everything that goes in my mouth i do not exercise alot other than a lot of house cleaning and chasing a 3 yr old around im so tired after all that maybe if i could muster up the strength to do more exercise i could eat more but at the time i just cant so there is the answer in my eyes after coming off meds some people havent taught themselves thier limits and weight returns

Good job on the 10lbs, and the 20 will come before you 're able to find bikinis for cheap!

Thanks for your imput. I know having a child is hard and I am not one to say that being a stay at home mom is easy. Especially with a young child that only gives you about 2 hours of rest a day. And who wants to exercise during downtime!

Yes, getting off phen, or any kind of weight loss pill like this is not easy if the person doesn't have control over their eating. Sometimes it was so easy for me to just want to run down to burger king for lunch and then mcdonalds for dinner I had to just remind myself that I didn't spend the time and money on phen to just gain it all back.

My advice for anyone with a hectic schedule is to take advantage of exercise while on the phen. It's the time that matters most because you will lose the weight so fast. Then when you get to where you are, find time to work out at least 3 days a week and try to eat a little more than what you ate while on the phen.

I'm not a doctor or nutritionist. I'm just someone who has struggled for years and was lucky enough to have the time to lose my weight quick.
