Hey everyone,

I'm doing so good with phen. I have lost 30 pounds in two months with phen, excerise and micheal thurmonds weightloss plan.
I don't want to stop at 3months with the pills. I would like to take them for about 4 months. Is this safe?

I read a article on this women who had taken phen for like 7 years on and off and she wasnt dead!!! But being for real i have read a lot of post not just this site also the other phen site. A lot of women have taken it for as long as years but they cycle off of it every few months. To allow it to leave the system i guess. I dont personally know anyone who has taken it longer than a few months i took it for a total of i think a month and a half, i would have liked to have taken it longer but i built the ressistance up and it just wasnt the same even after cycling off of it and it made me like angry moody and man the kids and hubby didnt like it needless to say.There a lot of people on here who take it so maybe someone will post as to who has taken it the longest Good Luck awesome weight loss by the way!! :cool:

My doctor had me on them for 12 months straight, and no ill effects. You will need to step down off them, you cant just stop or you will feel tired and sleepy until they get out of your system. To avoid that, start lowering your dose gradually.

I first started taking Phentermine in 2000. I took them for about 3 months straight. Then I went off of them for about 1 year. I then went back on them for a few months, etc. This has been going on for 6 years now. I just started again this month & I was off for probably 1 1/2 years.

They still work for me. However, I have the same side effects - moody & angry... along with being on edge. I'm only on 30 mg. I know they have 37.5 so I guess if I start getting immune, I'll go up in mg.

Maybe you should do the opposite & try a lower dosage?
