well, keeping in mind that i am doing south beach (the best diet in the world in my opinion) i have lost 13 lbs in 23 days. not bad, it could be worse, but it could be better. alot of that was probably water weight too. another person told me that i am not eating, and you have to eat. so i have been entering wholegrains into my diet and trying to eat even when i am not hungry, but still, no weight loss.

yes that is pretty much how it went, but i cant help but wonder if i wasnt on the sb diet, if i would have lost at all. it is very satisfying to fit into a size 14 jean, when i used to be an 18, and people have notices, but its all inches!!!!!!! i am now at 195, i want to be 180 by may, and i am wondering if it will happen

I have heard that you have to incorporate more protein/less carbs into your diet to see quick effects. If you are at a standstill, have you try incorporating exercise? Walking is the best!

I've just started my diet so I'm not sure how creditable my advice is. However, a couple of years ago I was at 180 & got down to 138 in about 4 months. I had lost 16 lbs in just 2 weeks & every week after that was less & less.. but the weight did come off!

I kept the weight off for another 1 year & then started back to my same old horrible eating habits. Now I am 165. My goal is 135. So, wish me luck & good luck to all of you as well! :-)

Let me make you feel better. I am 5'1 (extremely short) at 165. It looks so bad when you are short & chubby (my preferred alternate word to fat). :-)
