I have two friends who have had this EXTREME surgery. They both lost over 150 lbs, however they both have EXCESS skin folds that will require plastic surgery. ((which is not covered by insurance)) How do you offer support when you are totally against something to outrageous??? God bless them, but what can I do to help now? :goodman:

I see you joined under another name. That's ok. All I've seen are
great contributions from you now anyway! :grin: This is a great
post that raises some questions. How would you support them
if you did agree with it? They seem pretty stuck in terms of
getting the plastic surgery done. That's a frustrating thing to
deal with when they already went through such an ordeal
to lose a large amount of weight. Do you feel bad for not
supporting them financially or something? You shouldn't
dwell on it. All I can recommend is that you help them
learn to eat right so their bodies eventually love it and
they are healthy as possible for the rest of their lives.

I think that's the best support you can give them.
