I take a simply sleep and haven't had any problems. Eventually, sleep will get easier.

The sleeplessness should subside in a few days. If it doesn't I'd take a sleeping pill to break the cycle. (For me, I think sometimes it's just that my body is used to somehow not sleeping and then I go a little nutty!) You may also need to cut down on the dosage (cut it in half) or take it earlier in the day to see if you can't break it that way. Good luck, Ellen

I had a problem with the 37.5 doing that to me also and I just cut them in half. They still worked and I slept so much better at night. Good Luck

I take Lunesta, even before the phentermine. But that doesn't work as well now, so I do supplement with melatonin. That works really well. Sometimes, OTC sleeping pills can cause heart racing/palpitations which phentermine can also cause.

How long will this "sleeping" issue last?

Hi clamm73, The sleeping issues are different for everyone. There are sleeping meds, that can be taken in conjunction with pthentermine, both OTC and by script. It's never a good idea to mix meds without checking with your doctor first. dawg
