Oh thank you! My doctor already prescribed me some, but he makes me come in every week to make sure i am eating right and not loseing to fast. In all honesty he probly shouldn't have but i was having such a hard time with my last 15lbs

Hi rachelrmf, That is why guidelines are set as a rule of thumb. They are not absolute requirements. It is always at the physicians discretion whether to prescribe. If you have a good relationship w/your doc and especially if it was prescribed for you previously you should not have a problem. If you were seeing a doc for the first time it is unlikely that you would be given a script. top-dawg

top-dawg,i meant to ask last night will you tell me what my bmi is? i still want to lose at least 20 more pounds. my husband says that is too much. i am 62inches & i weigh 143. thanks gianna. do you know what my bmi should be ?

Hi gianna, Your BMI is 26.2. If you lose 20lbs. more it will make your BMI 22.5. The normal range for females is 19.0-24.9. Under 19 you are considered too thin.At 25 or over you are considered overweight. 30 or higher is obesity. Take care, top-dawg
